yea it was a great fight. little spinner was great, but john was mega brave and kept coming back for more at geoffs exspence! mini vantec questionable, 1 astro in half, and gear box buggered. oh and john blew big vantec in big scorpion. mega £££££!!! will it be ready for EU champs. we will see.
On way back from event (slow traffic). Great show, welldone to RR crew and the winners; Little hitter & 8654t. See you all in Holland.
Great event, packed seats plus 4 deep standing on two sides.

Just got back, Had somes good fights, Little spinner got a scratch from Scorpion Evoloution but later damaged the Mag motor itself by hitting a Gas Bottle too hard (was that yours as well Geoff?)
Sorry Geoff for the windup but it wasnt my Idea, Evo still all works after some super glue was added to the astro
Little Hitter wasnt fully fixed from last weekend and had lost backwards on one wheel and the speed controllers finally packed in today. Big Nipper snapped a motor shaft and had some strange(lucky) Judges decisions before getting well and truely stuffed in the final by 8654t & Ewe2.
Didnt see much of the Airshow but the robots were entertaining enough and certenly pulled in the crowds.
Would quite like to see some good pics of the insides of an astro gearbox...

great event, Merlin ran well (for a change!) just had a problem with a wheel but will be sorted for euro champs (a big thanks to Gordon for helping out). I dont think i saw any of the planes, although i felt the ground shake every time one went past.
