The part head Westwards along the coast, within half an hour they have lost site of the Galleon, although the small steel boat appears to be powering on ahead of them, while its moving they realise it can only be big enough to house 2 people. But within ten or so minutes it disappears around the next headland, as they change angel from the column of smoke they realise that it was actually 2 columns, probably a fair distance apart and looking unrelated. The group follow the coast around for several miles and the red sandy beach gives way to tall black cliffs perhaps two hundred feet high and the land takes a strange transition from tropical beach to Scottish moor land, including the temperature. They move up and get the pinnacle of the headland which is much higher than the surroundings and the source of the far thinner column of smoke, they look cautiously but see no one around and so advance up upon it and discover it to be a pile of items not that different to the one they landed in.
Seeing no one around they examine the pile:
The smoke seems to be rising from a sooty jar which seems to contain a large red newt which is certainly alive but breathes forth small jets of fire.
The complete unbroken contents of the pile are:
A salamander in a blackened jam jar (weight 3)
A Tesco Trolley (weight 24)
A tiny keg of alcohol about 3 inches high appearing to contain a ludicrously strong whisky (weight 1)
A cyborg arm with a fully articulated hand and 4 weapon attachments: tethered harpoon, blue laser, freeze ray and an acid jet. It appears you would have to replace an existing arm with it and certainly somewhere more hygienic than this. (weight 15)
A copy of the Mail on Sunday (weight 1)
A teaspoon made from what appears to be uranium (weight 1)
A Spartan helmet in good condition (weight 4, defense 9)
A morning Star (weight 12, attack 15-90, requires STR 5, DEX 5)
Some sequins in a clear plastic packet (weight 1)
The skull of a griffon (weight 5)
A hanging basket filled with forget-me-nots (weight 5)
Before they can pick up anything two figures come marching up the hill, which when they get closer are revealed to be 5ft tall platypuses standing on their hind legs, dressed in a buccaneers output with a cutlass at each of their sides.
€˜We be Platipirates!, Who be you?€™ The first exclaims
€˜Aye, that we be€™ Exclaims the second
You notice that neither have a threatening stance and neither is holding any weapons.
You looks behind them and see that they have come from what appears to be a 14th Century Arab city set in the middle of the moor land on the coast, and the small steel vessel from earlier is docked there.
What do you wish to do?
Talk to the platipirates (if so what about and how do you wish to act)
Attack the platipirates
Ignore the platipirates
Grab some of the things and run down towards the town
Excuse yourselves and walk way
Something else? The choice is yours
