Been giving some serious thought to moving to Australia once Ive graduated and got a decent financial cushion here - the people seem so much more cheerful and relaxed, it seems like a really nice country and besides, someone needs to show those guys how to build robots!
(just kidding guys I would love to take on your robots one day)

Not sure how many times the UK would fit into Australia but its bound to be a helluva lot - its massive!

From what ive heard it is quite hard to get in to live in Australia, the son of a guy i used to work with moved out there and only got in cos he knew Ian Thorpe and got a good reference from him.

But they are in need of engineers, but I think work experience might be needed firsth.

An ex-collegue of mine is studying at evenings besides his job to get a university degree so he is more qualified and has more chance to go to Australia. The requirements to emigrate there are pretty tough.
