I'm proud to announce that I'm running for elections again... this time for the Flemish Parliament. Woohoo !
Still, at the bottom of the election list, but hey, to actually be able to participate in the democratic process...

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

A question I'm asking myself as of today: will I have a new job on August the 1st ?

I'm not the only one told today that I'm being downsized, sadly enough, others who were not temps like me had to undergo the same ordeal. And at least I get a 3 and half months head-start for trying to find a new job. They hated to let me go, but the economic reality... blahdee blahdee... want to keep you at least until August, have called the temp office already for you to find something... blahdee blahdee... Silver lining and all, it still hurts.

On the other hand, I've always liked change. Change is opportunity. Change is challenge.

I have been ut of work for nearly 7 months now. I wasn't even given the priveledge of knowing why my employment was terminated.

For the record the name of the company is Orbis, now named Sitex-Orbis and they are a wunch of bankers

The tweenbot, a cardboard-bodied, cheerful little bugger, is equipped with a flag stating its intended destination. Since it can only move forward, it depends on the kindness of strangers to guide it and remove obstacles. It has made several trips through New York and made it to it's destination.
