Frm videos on YouTube Ive noticed Heavyweight spinners seem 2 b allowed at live events in the USA (eg Megabyte v Bio-Hazard fight-and that was in 2005!), how come?

Different Arena specs ...Thicker screens etc
The commercial arenas over here are of a lighter build to facilitate fast build and tear down times.
Who owns the Robot Wars Arena now?The UK championships could surely be held there, as spinners could enter too
I believe that the Arena or Arenas still exist ...I dont know who has them.
Its simply not commercially viable to build such a big and heavy arena for us to play in.
Its all down to money and or sponsors ... R.R. or Robots Live need to make a profit or at least not a heavy loss on such an undertaking.
Craig ...with Rebel Robots however seems to have the backing for such an Annual venture .

I seem to remember reading that Ed Hoppit, of Storm 2 fame, bought the Robot Wars arena.Originally Posted by Helloher
Yeah, he did.
I wonder what he did with it.
