    Some of my Entries:

Name: Mother Of All Bricks 2(MOAB)
    Motivation: 8 shuffling plates
    Speed: 18MPH
    Weight: 10kg
    Height: 150mm
    Length: 550mm
    Width: 550mm
Weapon: A single 300g 3.6v cordless screwdriver with a deadly sharp diamond tipped drill.
Drive: 4 x B42-500 Magmotors on 48v with two stage planetary gear boxes driving 8 shuffle plates which have 30mm wide by 450mm long strips of Volcalon rubber giving it more traction then any robot around! Each drive motor is producing 32HP each! Giving it a whooping 128HP (Take that Storm II)!
    Batteries: 160 C Cell NiCD Battle Packs producing 48v @ 12amps!
Armour: 7mm Hardox 700 ware all over the robot, there is 58 KG in armour alone!
Notes: Invertible, Fast, Tough and has skirts made out of 6mm Hardox which are connected via 20mm silver steel pins and locks. The skirts are invertible and are torsion sprung with a force of 85kg, this works both ways up, no flippers getting under this baby .

    Name: Gyrate
    Motivation: 4 WD
    Speed: 5MPH
    Weight: 100.00kg
    Height: 200mm
    Length: 600mm
    Width: 600mm
Weapon: The weapon to be honest is over kill. It€™s not there to win battles with precision or by advantage, it€™s there to win by pure ignorance and brute force. Gyrate features a 27kg 4ft long flybar, with two big teeth on the ends. The weapon is powered by three Husqvana chainsaws(same ones from Executioner 2) which produce 17HP at 24000rpm. The weapon is geared 3:1 to bring the 27kg blade down to a calm 8000rpm at peak. The blade according to the Team Cosmos Kinetic calculator, will produce 1.45 MEGA JOULES, not Kilo Joules, but MEGA! With a tip speed of some what close to 1500km/h, the weapon gives off sonic booms from the blade! Spin Up time, around 3-4 secounds. To sum it up, this weapon is not a toy, it has one purpose, to destroy anything and everything that enters its way, even if it means destroying itself in the process(the weapon that is). As they say, it doesn€™t matter weather you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.
Drive: 2 x S28-150 Magmotors with 30:1 planetary gearing, geared heaps so the motors will take the strain and load.
Batteries: 20 x 3000mAh NiCD cells to produce 24v 3amp. Just enough to last a full 6 mins.
Armour: 2mm poly. The opponent has to get past the huge spinning bar first though!
Notes: A one Hit Ko Machine

Advantages: The biggest, most powerful spinning weapon around

    Disadvantages: No Armour€¦..

    Name: Mass Disctruction Ultimate 3.1
    Motivation: Wheels
    Speed: 18MPH (480MPH Tip Speed)
    Weight: 100kg
    Height: 170mm
    Diameter: 0.8m
Weapon: The robot itself is the weapon. It uses its drive and a custom made micro processor system similar to that used in a fellow translational spinner called Cyclone Bot to translate itself around the arena creating a €œVortex of Destruction€. Using 9 Hardox €œenlightened€ teeth, it tears its opponent to pieces when the teeth collide at a sub-sonic speed of 480MPH. Causing certain death to the opponent.
Drive: 3 x B42-500 Magmotors running on 48v. The motors are protected with a current limiting circuit and a thermal protection system which will ensure the motors don€™t over heat. The drive system uses a unique variable drive system with load sensing technology which enables the robot to start rotating with a high gear ratio preset at 10:1 giving the motors high torque low speed. As the robot gains rpm, which is constantly monitored via wheel rpm sensors, the gearing then adjust to suit the load of the motors and gain further speed allowing the gear ratio to lower from 10:1 to as low as 1:1 at top speed. The gear ratio can also over drive thrown the ratio 1:2 giving the robot nearly double the original top speed and allowing far more energy, but this is only used when the opponent is at a distance where it can easily be disposed of. Otherwise, the drive is left at 1:1 maximum.

MDU 3 sports an advanced drive control system to that of Cyclone Bot as it uses motor and wheel sensors to travel and translate in the most efficient possible way, minimising energy lose. The drive will adjust ratio to suit condition if it is loaded and will change if need to translate at the full 18MPH (10MPH up on the last version since the robot size has decreased for faster movement, quicker spin up times and thicker armour). Spin up time is minimal and varies between 0.5sec spin up and 1sec when the system is suffering from battery voltage drop. At a mere 1/7th of its full RPM, this robot will be dangerous. 500rpm will have enough energy to throw robots out the road and allow it to continue it quest for domination. If people start ganging up on it (Everyone will, I know), the drive system will be locked down into 500rpm mode allowing the drive to have nearly maximum potential torque yields and it will force the opponents away till it can then safely power back up to full speed and deliver the force of the €œVortex of Destruction€. To ensure endurance during combat, everything has been shock mounted for maximum protection.
Batteries: 160 x 5000mAh D Cell producing 48v @ 15amps. The packs are protected by a system like the drive which give both current and temperature protection. The packs are re-enforced between the cells with thermal conducting Aluminium plates which support the batteries from the G-Force at max speed.
Armour: 6mm Hardox 500 with stainless steel welding. Built in a monocoque design with triangle shape and inner supportive bulkheads.
Notes: Invertible. Dangerous and soon to be, your worst nightmare. All within your precious 100kg weight limit. Approche Avec prudence.
Advantages: Ultimate handling, with the ability to strafe, dodge and attack with out changing orientation.
Weakness: Stevo€™s Writing j/k Umm, probably itself.

    Name: The Ultimate Wedge
    Motivation: 6WD
Shape: A wedge shape like Voltronic
    Speed: 35MPH
    Weight: 100kg
    Height: 250mm
    Length: 800mm
    Width: 600mm
Weapon: A High Pressure top hinged flipper powered by a 80mm bore with 3 20mm Burket valves feed from a 3L buffer tank, using 2.2L of Liquid CO2. Well over 500kg of flipping force. This is not designed to be a big powerful flipper, but is used to launch the opponents over the arena wall or to momentarily disable them so they can be rammed again! Flipper sits on top of the armour, meaning when the flipper fires, the robot is still armoured everywhere.
    Chassis/Armour: 4mm Hardox 400
Drive: 2 x LEMCO 200€™s! Bigger then the LEMCO 130€™s and they put out more HP!
    Batteries: 160 x 3000mAh NICD to produce 48v
    Notes: The robot is invertible.

Advantages: The SPEED! The Pushability! The Strength! Flipping good

Disadvantages: Having to keep your opponent in the arena long enough to have fun

RIP CAGE & INFUSION COMING SOON!

Isnt the doomsday project from a side saga of the original spiderman comics where the villian red skull tries to use the abandon doomsday device by collecting the several sacred keys of the original builders. Some reason I think Captain America gets involved in this.

FYI, Haka, I finally found the Michael vid in the end ...and as for your last comment, I just have a long memory. Were all sad in our own way . Why do you think were on this Forum in the first place?

BTW Richie, would we be able to get a list of all the bots in so far, vapours n all?
