Well, it had its debut competition this past January at MURC RMRS so its not that old.
Rebel is one awesome UK ant. I was very impressed in the videos I have seen. The cad for the weapon assembly looks very nice.
Is there an online vendor for this NC 4 Stinger motor, and what is the amp draw? Thanks
Dan
im not to sure i will ask scott (hes jsut gone offline) as he can cad one up. he also has one so knows all the specs.

I get my stingers from http://www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/http://www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/
Off load they draw about 300mA but with the discs on MilitANT and CombatANT they draw 2- 3 amps at 12.6V. I have just located and ordered a brushless motor that claims to do 54,000 revs as opposed to the 29,000 of the stinger. It will probably make the robot uncontrollable but I just had to have one to try.
hehe spect it will a be several gramms heavier as well peter which will mean a lighter disc... i was thinking of getting a brushless motor but with weight u dont really need it.
looking forward to seeing what you create with it peter
These motors look impressive. They might be a little much for the 145mah Kokams though. I will test with the 12v motor I have, and upgrade if it seems possible.
Frame is being milled later than expected, the CNC machine is being moved to Minnesota, so the frame wont be milled until July 1st. I am almsot done with the drum though.
Dan
You are probably correct about the 145mah Kokams
I use the 350 size cells.
