Welcome back all you budding DD fans (I was close). In a moment well have the second round when Marabunta takes on Angel of the Abyss and Wedge Devolution battles RPS.

But first, lets have a little game. Or rather, a big game. Because to win at Sumo, you need to be big, strong, and heavy enough for talking scales to say One at a Time, Please.

The rules are very simple. What our robots have to do is stay in the sumo ring as long as possible. The ring has raised edges with gaps, so a robot can only be pushed out through those gaps (like Techno Games). But beware, their oppodent is Jakamoko 2. And he doesnt take kindly to robots.

LET THE TRIALS BEGIN.

The first competitor to have a go with Jakamoko is SD IV. This robot, partly based on Tornado, is all about push. The skirts will be handy for preventing Jakamoko from getting underneath. Its cutting saw, a very dangerous weapon, has been removed because, after all, this is all about pushing. Its scoops should make up for that though.

ROBOTEERS, STAND BY.

The time limit, BTW, is one minute

3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Sumo is really less damaging than other trials because its pushing, not destroying, thats why Im doing this. Anyway, SDIV is moving to the side of Jakamoko 2, pushing on the side...OH, but it just knocks it against a rail. The armadillo shaped robot gets away, and comes front on front with SDIV. OH, STRAIGHT UP THE SCOOP! Oh, sorry, didnt I tell you that the scoop of Jakamoko gives it 0 ground clearance up front? Didnt I tell you that its ultra thin and thus really low? HAH HAH! TOO LATE NOW! SDIV is in trouble...oh, no its not. Its pushing back with incredible power! And its a stalemate. Neither robot is getting the upper hand.

CEASE!

AND THE SUMO ROUND IS OVER. SD IV HAS SURVIVED THE FULL MINUTE!
