wheelchair motors are a good drive to start off with. theyre cheap and have a good power output ranging from about 300w to 1hp. not sure on the RPM but it isnt grand. i would assume between 300-500rpm (someone else with more experience may chide in with the actual rpm), and as for tourk i have no idea what that is. but i assume its your spelling.
(p.s. spell properly please. its way to hard reading your posts)
yeah that is my spelling but thanks for the help
The torque and speed of wheelchair motors varies quite a lot. The best would be to try and dig up some motors, then check the specs.
thanks for the help
Take a look at Roger Plants CIMs, with axles and even wheels available.
my wheelchair motors have a output of 136 rpm and 180 mm wheels and it gives 4.6 km/h. god or bad ??? they ar rated at 24 volt and 8.2 amp on the plate of the motors, when a test them they only draw 4 amps, strange
The stated current draw is with nominal load, so thats not strange at all.
But that isnt very good for wheelchair motors (some wheelchair motors will peak at well over a horsepower).
Mats, most wheelchair motors can handle 36 v.
I know, I tested mine whith 52 volt !!! vroooom :-)))
