Ben, would you mind me doing some CADs for you? (the robots you entered here for starters...)
Ben, would you mind me doing some CADs for you? (the robots you entered here for starters...)
Thats great Martijn, I was hoping someone would offer
For the CAD Ben, I have the same questions Dave had. Can you describe the goat horns a bit better? Are they part of the flipper or part of the main body? And can you describe setup 5 of the Hedgehog please?
On Robo-Goat the horns are part of the body
on Robo-Hedghog I think that I have described setup 5 to the best of my knowledge
quote:
5) 8 rows of 5 curved teeth, the first 6 rows face the rear and collapse when you drive forward and become rigid and damage the tyres of other robots when you drive backwards, the last row faces the opposite way and are fixed in place
Is that 8 teeth high 5 teeth wide or 8 teeth wide and 5 teeth high? Teeth in vapourbots are mostly meant to describe those things you use on your disc, blocks of metal mostly. Are they curved blocks of metal? How do they face the rear (they are on the front of the robot right?) and if they face the rear than what does the rest face?
The way I have interpreted the weapon is...
the teeth are similar to Mutes barbs, in that they can trap opponents when they are trying to drive off the front wedge. However, according to Robo-Hedgehogs stats the shape is a box so I dont see how they would work...
and research told me goat horns face backwards, lol
no, they face forwards, they do not get in the way of the flipper, they are more for use when i face invertible or robots able to self-right, thay are used to grab and hold while I drive towards the pit and then pit them
