I think youre on the right track, I have one question though - does the wheel at the front steer?
The majority of combat robots turn by differential drive, in other words driving the wheels at different speeds, or opposite directions to turn on the spot. Your front wheel would have to turn round though 90 degrees when turning on the spot otherwise it will just be dragging on the ground. Would it be better to replace this with a castor?
