Then he could put 1/2 Grade 5 titanium roll bars on, with vortex milled into the top and then gold plated that wont look too tatty. And anyway, i like rampages roll cage, cheap/easy/simple AND WORKS

By the way chaps, I wont have the hardox discs from Sweden in time for Magna. Ive found a local metal stockists though which has the right size of aluminium disc (which Ill bolt steel teeth onto obviously).

P.S. Ill see how it goes at Magna but I might just add Rampage style roll bars eventually.

New updated Picture of the bot on my profile. It includes the new 290mm aluminium disc (see last post). The green bits are 3mm steel plates... I only had the green metal paint (to protect from rust) but it kinda suits it dont ya think?

Final Put-Together finishes tonight so I hope for a test run wednesday/thursday night.

  7. looks like a nice design, but is the disc ballanced well enough? Looks like too ruff a cut to be perfectly balanced, and if your running off a gold, it may not have the brute force to keep it spinning at a nice speed!

Cant wait to fight it - zoooooom smash. So what it does when 10mm ali with 5mm Ti on top of it hits it at 25mph. Big spark and someones going to fly, or both. LOL!

    To all questions:

Rob, Its only 2kg, even though it looks as beefy as it does

Grant, Its nicely lathed down, and the teeth balance it out perfectly. I dont really think the front-view of the disc does it justice.

    Stu, bring it on! lol
