HI Guys,
Well I think I can honestly say, that overall, the tour worked better than imagined. Obviously there were high points, and low points, tempers, losers, and of course two fantastic winners.
I honestly thought that by the end, numbers would have dwindled down to around 10 robots, little did we know, that 45 would come to the final. Just fantastic.
Well done to blue, and of course the mighty Terrorhurtz, who I feel was a very worthy winner attending every event along with many others
But commiserations to mute, who were doing brilliantly.
Trophies will be sent directly to the winners, Gary Apologises for not having them at Doncaster.
We must also say a big thank you to you guys for your cooperation in getting ready for your fights, the timing was tight, but our slick operation got us through it, without any major problems.
And yes the Robot Wars Buzz was back, and about time too, who knows the €œ tour €œ may just happen again, maybe heading south.
We are currently regrouping and making plans for next year so stay tuned to what could be another fantastic year of roboteering, happy building, and repairing, ready for 2005.
We will be sending out feedback questions to all roboteers who took part in the tour, before making any decisions, your feedback would be most appreciated.
Jonno
