After all that, it looks like Im not going to cope, Im afraid. Have fun, though, and Ill try to make it to the next gathering (possibly even with some semblance of a robot to justify my existence).

Not alot Andrew, it was Karoline, Mike Lambert and myself with two children. Just general chit chat, and a pleasant evening had by all.
Given how little relaxation time I have at the moment, that sounds like a nice evening. Oh well. Glad it was enjoyed by the people who *could* make it, and sorry to be antisocial.

With only 3 events this month with little indication of any SE region people going, holidays are mostly done and dusted, kids back to school.....how about getting together for a social sometime this month?
Any ideas for a different location?
With only 3 events this month lol! Only 18 months ago 3 events in one month would have been seen as rediculous. Oh well, how times have changed. Id like to come but Im one of those people who have to go back to school :-) maybe this friday or saturday I might be able to do.
Ive just got back from surgery (which is why Ive not been ranting about things - miss me?) so Im afraid Im in non-driving mode again. Basically that means that somewhere accessible by train in the London/Reading direction is about the best I can do for a couple of weeks - after which Ill be fully sociable again.
Having missed the last one, itd be nice to socialize.

Either or all it doesnt matter to me. Hopefully David is OK to allow me to go out depending on when hes had his op. I shall know for definate on Thursday.
