Ive never been karting before and it all sounds like it might be getting a bit competative. Is it ok for a complete novice to have a go?

Both dates are fine for Sarah and I.
Richard - It should be fine for a complete novice, although 50 laps is harder than it sounds and you may ache afterwards! Its great fun though, I certainly enjoy it, although Im not that good.
I suspect its going to be a competition for 3rd place, as I reckon Jamess racing skill will just be beaten into second by Tims karting experience and lighter weight! ;-)

Unfortunately the 29-5-05 is now off as the track is now fully booked for that date. The 26-6-05 may be a possibility as there is a provisional booking only I wont know until after the 12-06-05 to see if this is confirmed. Im still looking at this date but other avaiable dates are.
10-07-05 from 14:30 onwards
17-07-05 from 14:30 onwards
24-07-05 all day ( but european champs)
31-07-05 all day
note the BBQ could be before or after the race as the track shuts at 6pm.
To confirm a date with the track I need to put a deposit of two people down and pay the balance of the minimum of 8 people a week before. So those interested please check the new dates and email me back. Until I get a commitment from a minimum of 8 people theres no point booking the track.
As it looks that this possibly wont happen until July I suggest that as there is interest for the 29-05-05 we meet at a pub or have BBQ around someones.(any offers)

I cant make the 17/7 but all other dates are fine for me.
I cant do the 26th of June Ian- Im working. 10th, 17th and 24th of July are all OK. Cant do the 31st of July, cos Im working again.
All dates are good for me at the moment.
Just a bit of information - up to you guys really but just relaying some information to you, theres going to be a week long event Roaming Robots full scale event(s) from 13th July till 21st July at one of the UKs top attractions. More informaiton about this week long event next week. Just giving you information as i thought you might like to know.

but dosnt that confict with your riat on 16/17 & eurochamps which starts 21. the date which im hoping for is the 10-7-05 as some cant make the 17-7. Want to come your most welcome.
