The rules do change. The maximum width for Series 7 was 1.2 m, whereas for Series 6 it was 1.4m. Mentorn wanted to reduce the max width to 1.1m for Series 7, but were persuaded against it. It could come down to 1.1m for Series 8, if that takes place.
