Ok, in that case all of the challenge range do have sealed gearboxes. Challenge is a kind of basis of all the other drills, as it is the cheapest model, and an almost identical model to such cheap drills as the BIG W drills.

Same as the B&Q 14.4V then.
Just dont take the bugger apart!
The Powerbase range (sold at Homebase) are made by Bosch, so theres not much difference accept price!

with those UK robotics drill kits, how is the tread held onto the wheel? with nails, screws etc...
and has anyone had the tread come off or anything of that nature
Dominic have mounted a small 3/8 UNF nut inside a hexagonal hole in the wheel.
I think he means the tyres - I think theyre countersink-bolted/screwed on but Im not sure. I know you can buy new tyres.

You can buy new tyres, and the screws are countersunk head screws which do the job. As the first person to use Doms kits, I am overly impressed, and Id advise anyone with the cash to buy a kit when using drill motors...
Cheers, Ewan
How much do they cost?
The wheels, tyres or the whole mount?
I brought a kit of four mounts for 48.00, therefore the two mount pack should be 24.00... But ask Dominic for an exact price...
Cheers, Ewan
