ANNOUNCEMENT - RAFFLE OF REPLICA ROBOT WARS JACKET
Team Tornado have donated a Robot Wars leather jacket to St Nicholas Hospice for their Roaming Robots event at Hardwick Heath, Bury St Edmunds, on the 23rd May 2004.
The jacket is a replica of that worn on TV by Craig Charles during Series 7 of Robot Wars. It is a padded leather bikers jacket which would fit a teenager or small adult. It is black and yellow with a white stripe, has various Robot Wars patches sewn onto it, and the Robot Wars logo on the front and Robot Wars written across the back. There are zip up pockets and and a zip fastening. The jacket (worth about £200) will be raffled in order to raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice.
All roboteers attending the event are asked to help sell raffle tickets on the day, in order to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice. Of course, you can dig into your own pockets for a chance to win the jacket and help support such a good cause.
Dont miss the chance to win this must-have piece of Robot Wars merchandise!
Regards
Team Tornado
May be able to attend with CBF, let you know nearer the time.

Are antweights going to be there BTW?
Thank you so much to everyone who is joining in to make our Fete such a special and exciting day.
many thanks also to Andrew for the really generous donation of the jacket, it is fantastic!
We are promoting the Fete and Roaming Robots displays as much as possible and have had a great deal of interest and have spoken about it to some very excited adults and children! We have produced flyers and posters for the event; if any of you can display any of these to help promote it, please email me direct on susan.meader@ast-nicholas-hospice.org.uk and I will send them out to you.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the day. Not long now!
