Ooo missed this one.
Cost wise, no idea. Mute has been running for 5 years now and has changed dramatically from its original form. The only original bits are the ally chassis and 2mm stainess steel skin. But from current parts alone Id say in the region of £2500 excluding the valves because they took about 6 months of tinkering before we got them working properly. For the rams you are looking at about maybe £15 each for materials and about 8 hours machining per ram.
Featherweight Mute, well Ive got it all drawn up - even got the chassis cut too. It had a full pressure gas system idential to Mute but with 4x 3/4 rams and front and rear flippers. I doubt it would have stood up to todays spinners though as the armour would have been a bit thin!
And Mute is 24V not 36![]()
