they're probably bigger than the real one!
they're probably bigger than the real one!
Just been working on Mute and found Micro Mute 2 in our storage crate, couple of pics in its current state with the old baterries that lasted about 2 fights
Hopefully with the advances in batteries we might get it working again, if we can find some batteries that can stand up to the motors with the ncc-70 speedo's![]()

Now that is a nice looking feather, what motors is that running?
I would say with my limited knowledge that go Lipo batteries and scorpion esc but im not exactly one to give advice to the mute guys![]()
There is no way Scorpions would last in that.
ive never used scorpions so i wouldn't know but thats my limited knowledge there
look cool.
edit: im getting esc's confused, i ment sidewinder![]()
That's a FW?! It looks huge!
the motors look like bosch 120s to me, i can't be sure though. hopefully mute will confirm. the problem with sidewinders is they're hard to come by nowadays as they've been discontinued.
Motors are 12v bosch 120w running on 24V, as I remember flat out Mm2 would do about 30mph, and hit full speed in about 1.5 meters. She's a battery cooker! Motors alone at 1.1kg each I think. Also it is big, 24v nicads, two ncc-70's, four wheel drive with four massive wheels to put the power down and two rather large motors needs a good chunk of space. Remember that technology has changed a lot since we built this one.
