Now that we have this forum I would suggest you redirect your sites link to here and thus prevent people posting in an area which no one reads.

Thinking about it.. maybe we should all start building Middleweights...
Easier to get around, cheaper, easier to build safe arenas for.. but still big enough and powerful enough to both impress a crowd and be fun to build and drive (its not like most people know how big the things are anyway!)
Could make a lot a problems a lot easier to deal with!
Just a thought

theres nothing wrong with middleweight spinners!
If the TV show ends for good the lifespan of heavyweights is very very limited and the designs will quickly degenerate into square boxes ramming each other and flippers flipping them over. Substitute the words ditch water dull as and these are not robots at war into any such conversation. The future of the sport lies within the middleweights and other classes only.
hopefully arenas will improve to allow for heavyweight spinners (i know at least debenham and Robot Crusade are allowing spinners this year).

I wouldnt say the Heavyweights have no future Adam.. its just a far more expensive future both in terms of money and commitment
I too hope to see arenas keep developing Alan, but the fact is were already somewhat behind the development curve with the arenas compared to the Robots.. and its a bloody expensive and large job to catch up.
Id love to see more middleweights out and about, as Ive said before, theyre big enough and powerful enough to impress.. while being far more manageable than a heavyweight is ever going to be..
