There already is, only theyre called hobbyweights on the forum. Raptors have a specific ruleset over hobbyweights.

Our new robot Shockwave is being built and should hopefully be ready for XFM this weekend.

Drive- 2x 18v Drills running 75mm wheels
Batteries- Ni-Mh
Armour- 10mm polycarb and 4mm aluminium
weight- should be 12kg when finished.
Weapon- LP flipper

Tested Flipper today with very little Co2 in the bottle but it still had enough power to throw whirlpool and self right so it should be even better when its finished and working properly.

is that ali the arm?? you will need a brace on it has it will bend

Those photos were taken this morning, since then it has braces fitted made from 8mm ali and 10mm polycarb which have stood up quite well so far.

how much has the whole pneumatic system cost you to build from switch all the way to the rams? i might be heading in this direction after i have tested it with my compressor system.
