Scrap my last comment about the HTI motors seem to be performing ok. Burnt them both out today when demo-ing it for some family members. Think I may look at speed 900s going through a gearbox before the belt stage as an improvement. Other than that, the drum span well with them.

What is the situation with speed 900s I thought they were now discontinued?

thats what i heard and does any 1 know a motor with similar specs to the speed 900 which is around the same price

It seems you still can buy m.

We just bought a nice supply of them, just to be sure.

We have 12 spares then.
In the end ,its just another Johnson motor.

i only have 2 spares for each robot maby i should order some more do you think a mini ev motor would be as good as the speed 900

Graupner have now stopped making them, and most UK model shops dont stock them anymore.
