Trying to get my feather finished but have little time at the moment with the new arrival a few months ago.

I am pretty sure i should be ok to make to final round of the UK champs at Folkestone for some white board fights.

I need to get some new batteries for ploughbot-running on very cheap 2100nicads at the moment and they dont last a fight. Dave moulds mentioned that you use NiMhs in scorpion evil? i have a good set of 3300GP cells but i didnt think they would stand up to 2astros and an overvolted drill motor? Any suggestions?

I seem to remember hes gone to the 3700mah GP Ni-Mhs recently?

This wouldnt make all that much difference though - Id suggest its worth a try as they should stand up to the current draw OK. Theyve (3300 GPs) lasted me over two years including a flutter with a highly under-geared Astro weapon.

Now though, as the boldness of your letters seems to be inviting, perhaps Geoff should answer :wink:
