If I can fit my proposed crushing claw into your old Hornet chassis, well need to get a lil match-up going after Easter (provided I get it finished over Easter). Dont need to worry about safe arenas or anything, my room exceeds the safety baseline for running spinners (cos it has solid concrete walls and a concrete roof - cant get more protected than that)

(Only problem being the drivers pods are integrated into the room without any separation - Ill get disclaimers drawn up )

Ill be honest, that thought had breifly crossed my mind too.

As long as they are long enough to clip another robot then I am happy. Whilst it may be a spinner I would rather just flip other bots with it to give the crowd something that looks good without doing much damage to an opponent.

I did a few calcs as well and with the speed that it will be going at, I wont get much of a cutter bite when I hit an opponent so making them large is pointless.

If it turns out to be a problem I can always see about getting another disc
