hiya all guys like to say Bril weekend and thanx to EVERYONE that was involved and attended and i hope to see the dvd cause i didnt see any of the fights as i was helping dave with lighting :sad: ho well.

hi, Id just like to say that was a great event and great fun. I also have a big thanks to all the people who helped us get Thuggernought back running especialy the scorpion team. Without all the loaned tools and generous supplys of cable ties it would never have been running at the end of the event.

I should point out that the video on my site is only in pretty low resolution. If you want to see it in professional quality from loads of camera angles...Then buy the DVD when it comes out!!!

Andy M, Dave G, Sarah and Sian for all their help with the PA and the lighting on the day, Andy for always being in the right place at the right time and Sian for keeping a smile on Daves face for the weekend and Sarah for excessive hammerdamage accompanied by manic laughter.
...hmm, who else, Andy Kane for judging, James at Inspire for letting us take over their building, Bob and co for the filming, the lovely Charlotte for being our presenter, Viking Lighting for the rig.....
.... and the roboteers without whom the event wouldnt have been much - an empty arena isnt much fun !
Im glad everyone had a great time, Im told the footage from Botcam and the other cameras is great and hopefully well have a teaser/trailer of some of the highlights out soon. Watch this space to order a DVD too !

Everybody at Phantom Films - Bob, Rick, Anne, Scott, Robin, James, Garfy and Charlotte would like to thank everybody at this years Inspire for being so welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Ed at Team Storm and the featherweights.org team for putting on an excellent event and enabling us to capture probably the best action footage ever
seen of featherweight robots in action. We couldnt have got this done so quickly without the co-operation of all concerned, especially the
roboteers, so a big thanks and hopefully this is the start of many filmed events to come which can only increase the popularity of the fighting robots scene.
We are planning to relase a short promo clip of the footage very soon, and will let you know when and where it will be available to view.

just wanted to say thanks to ed, and stu n co, for a great weekend.
Oh and what superb polycarb, tables and gas filing service
seriously loved the hammer, and the filming was great, charlotte did a brilliant job.
Rip was on form all weekend, some great fights with cutlet. Lots more to come in 2004 im sure.
First outing for Strip, proved the concept, need to rebuild with some proper wheels now.
Look forward to winning again next year
