    Just read it, there is a stated workaround, which might be what you need, I’ve had mine just over 18 months and it works like a charm, but binding can be a very slow process, I’ve trawled the deviation forum fairly regularly and never seen anything mentioned, although if your really nervous about I saw a dx6i on eBay earlier preowned for 45 with about 8 hours left by now...
