I'd argue for a front hinged flipper that it would be worthwhile since the best effect with a flipper is when the opponent is at the end of the arm opposite to the hinge. Since in the case of a front hinged flipper, the opponent has to be somewhat wholly on the arm for it to work effectively, I'd think something to stop them flying off the other end of the arm would be worthwhile as an experiment at any rate.hmm i would agree if it was a straight ramming wedge but with the flipper i wouldn't.
