Thread: Max Length / Height

    I've had a flick through the FRA build rules, but didn't note this, although I accept its possible i ended up missing it out entirely.

    Is there a set max/min height/length for the Featherweight category? I know it has to weigh no more than 13.6kg, but i couldn't find anything relating to dimensions.
    Me and my team mate for this endeavour are looking to start as soon as a jigsaw for the HDPE arrives, and we're finalising the admittedly simple design currently. Keeping it simple for the first bot we build!

    Not to my knowledge, the weight limit also limits what size they can be depending on materials and parts used. Japanese Fighting Tortoise by Dave Lawrie of Jellyfish fame measured in at 1.5m widge I think, but it was only 10cm long and high (it was a piece of drainage pipe I think). Seraph's pretty big too, though not sure of its exact dimensions.
