So would something like this work for the purpose?
Or would buying that be a bad idea? Just wanting to make sure is all.
Is a good kit for the smaller applications.
So I took a look, measured it roughly, and the axle size is like... 6-7mm, whilst the pulley is 2cm... the one I linked is definitely not going to work, I think...
I know this feels a little spammy, but is there any pulley removers/pullers that anyone can recommend to me? As I'm struggling to find one that could fit the bill.
The reason why I'm asking this is because the wiper removers look a little bit on the flimsy side, I don't have access to CNC, and the ball joint removers look... well, too small or waaaaay too large.

So I literally tried to do the two screwdriver technique, and that sodding pulley isn't budging. Like, I put my full weight behind it, and it didn't even move a centimetre. (thankfully the axle still rotates, as I'm easily the same weight as a heavyweight robot lul) So, I'm back to square one on it, meaning that I either do the vice technique like I do with the mounts, OR I end up buying a pulley remover and having it be way too big or too small haha.
I think I may go to Screwfix tomorrow and see if they have anything that could help me out.
Did you try heating it with a lighter like NAT suggest ?
You could try a risky way by cutting a slot out of the pulley
I don't have access to a blowtorch, and I don't trust myself well enough to cut into metal just yet. Like I said when Ocracoke suggested anyway, I plan on using the pulley as well.
Have access to a lighter? its not a blow torch, assuming you are over 18, you can buy these for under a pound.
Otherwise a gas hob could be used. But be carefull!
Once heated you can prise it off using the 2 screwdriver method. My one i tried last night came off easily with theis method. Is there a grub screw holding it onto the shaft too?
heat will be your friend here,
Check out the last link, i think this will do what you need...
potentially something like the smaller one will assist, but may need to grind down the ends a bit to get the 'fingers' to sit under the pulley...
