Sledge hammer thwack bot or dangly things that hit when you spin like Rory's?

I was thinking a length of rubber a couple of inches thick with a huge chunk of metal on the end. Be a big wollop when it hit and as long as it was tough enough not to get sliced off it might do interesting things to other spinners without being classed as entanglement.
