Hi again, so I got my prototype working with an old air compressor so it was a good starting point.
Now i thought i would try a design for the actual version, not expecting to get it right first time, but hoping i'm on the right track. (I got stuck on the exhaustpart)

These are the parts that I have chosen (letter match the diagram).

Working Pressure 14 Bar
2/2 Solenoid (D):

Burkert Solenoid Valve 221606, 2 port , NC, 24 V dc, 1/2in
Ram (E):

Parker Double Action Pneumatic Profile Cylinder 125mm Bore, 125mm Stroke
Hose:

My questions:
-> How would the exhaust work, I've only tried this using 5/2 solenoid, but i cant find one that can handle 10 bar? Could i do it a different way?
-> Based on your experience would this configuration be a viable options and how could i improve it?
-> Are there better components suited for this configuration than the ones i have chosen?
-> Safety valves have not been factored in, could someone recommend one?
Thanks again for your time everyone. This is a pretty steep learning curve, but its very interesting![]()
