I'm looking into using a lifting arm for a heavyweight in the works. Proposed power is a 24v scooter motor.
What is the best gear ratio to use in this case?

1:1 will be super quick
There are a few different scooter motors. Ranging between 200 and 1000 watts.
Cherub has a 250w motor 75:1 gearbox and a 2.5:1 chain reduction on the lifting arm. More than enough lifting power. I use the 85w esc, 6s lipo works fine.
