So after a little break from building real life robots I return from building virtual robots in Garry's Mod to start work on Bunny-Ears 1.5.
I decided to keep most of the old design but upgrading the build quality and internals.

quick update, Bunny-Ears has it's new ESC and flipper arm and is starting to take shape.
With AWS 52 next month, time to make the final push to get both bots ready. Killer-Wolf given 1mm polycarb to replace the top and sides, shedding 2grams and gets rid of that cheese grater look.
Bunny-Ears has had to have it’s motors repositioned as the bot was lacking enough ground clearance to move freely. Also finally added the side panels.
There're ready.

All packed and ready for AWS 52.
So AWS 52 has been and gone, while progress in the tournament didn't seem to be made, the bots proved to been successful upgrades. Killer-Wolf suffered Damage in the gladiator melee from 2 spinners, the damage is repairable but I feel I should take the chance for another upgrade. This time the structure, the current approach involves sides panels supporting the back/ base plate and if one breaks like it has done twice now.
So here is Killer-Wolf 2.0:
