Some of the disks at the last beetle champs I know for a fact were in the region of half a kilo and spinning at a daft rpm and no one said anything. My beetle never even got tech checked at any of the beetle events last year so don't worry about it. If you're still worried bring your bar down to 300g you'll comply with two of the rules and have nothing to worry about.
