Time to start work on SMIDSY, hopefully getting the orginal spinner for the rear, but what for the front main weapon ?

you always keep to the original weapons like the nashing jaws (like the ones from series 3-6) or a lifting scoop (like in series 7). Or even have the original smidsy weapons lifting jaw & nashing jaws as interchangeable for centain fights. that's one idea but it's up to you.
