flipper mechanic

Evening all

Is there any diagrams or help I can get to build a good flipper system. The only help I have at the moment is a robot wars dvd that shows the workings of Chaos 2 which is good but it isn't enough as I haven't built or even seen one in person before

However, I would highly recommend you not build a pneumatic robot as your first machine. Even if you have dealt with pneumatics before, the nature of these machines means that they are more dangerous than a normal system (IMO).

I don't know your back ground or skills so I cant say for sure but I would look at a different bot type such as a Rambot, Electric lifter or Electric grabber rather than jumping straight into pneumatics. But if you have got the skills then that thread will give you a good starting point.
