Hi again,

Sign ups are now live from the http://www.beetleweights.com web site if you want to pop along to the Kings Horse Hungry Horse Pub in Stafford on Saturday 15th August for an outdoor fun event. No main competition as such, but I'm sure we can sort something out on the day. The arena will be up with fully pollycarb with the Pay to Battle bots running for the general public from 2pm till 6pm, with plenty of chances in between to take part in some battles/testing/ trash a few things.

Hi there,

This event has been cancelled by the Hungry Horse pub due to a clash with their own cider festival.
The web site will be amended in due course as well as emails sent out to those who signed up.

See you at the next one ;-)

Hi, just to let you know, even though we have had to cancel the Stafford event due to reasons out our control, we can invite roboteers to a fun social event Outdoors at the Gatehouse Hungry Horse (WV10 6EE) in Wolverhampton on Sunday 30th August 1pm till 6pm. This pub is only about 10 miles away from the Stafford pub. Let us know if you are able to.

This is a stupid question...but is it like just a get drunk social thing or will the arena be there as well?

Haha. The arena is there from 1pm till 6pm for public to drive with the battle fleet. But the arena is for roboteers use all day also for anything you want to do
