I dount anyone knows what the internals of a right angle drill are like? Something like the one below:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ryobi-Plus-R.../dp/B006XBU0K0

Don't know if they are mountalbe direct out the case, if they are metal geared in the right angle stage or anything and at a good price I don't want to spend out just on the off.

Buy it, open it up carefully, put it back together and return it if it's not what you were after. As long as you are super careful then you will get away with it

incidentally, I own the drill, impact driver and jigsaw from the ryobi one+ range. Cracking tools and very handy that I can use the same batteries across the range (i've run them hard over recent projects)

If it wont work for drives I will just keep it for the sake of a new tool

Battery and charger sold separate mind.

Too heavy and the casing is likely cast Aluminium, not really strong enough for robot applications. Don't apologize for asking nooby questions, everybody's had to do it at one point.

Angle grinder gears are very good for weapon use where you need a ratio. 360 uses angle grinder gears and that has some serious power!
