Stick welder keep to mild steel or hardox. Tig is a whole different ball game. The welder alone can easily cost 10 times as much for a cheap one and you need a ready supply of argon, CO2 or a mixture depending on what you want to weld.

Buy yourself a cheap stick welder and you will be amazed at the avenues suddenly open to you. TIG can come later once you have experience welding.
