Why not build one yourself?

It's much easier to maintain a machine that you build yourself than one that was build by someone else.
Plus you might not have access to the tools required to maintain it.

For what it's worth, I take a lot of pleasure out of building my own machines.
Even during the moments I screw up for I learn a new lesson how not to do it.
