Its a 3S battery and a brushless ESC I'm waiting for still, hopefully they will still come in time but it is starting to look unlikely.

I got a 30a plush and a 3s 850mah 3s cheapy lipo if that's any use.
Thank you Harry, it's definitely worth a try - I'm getting the robot to the point where it should just need them to be put in to be completed for it to work.
We have 6 lipos for beetles, 4 1.3Ah 3S and 2 2.2Ah 3S... you can borrow one of those if it will fit as we will be bringing all of them.
Thanks Alex, yeah the 1.3Ah ones or Harrys should both work ok.
It will be strange to fill my bag for a weekend and stuff just tools into itand some underwear offcourse.

England, here i come!
You have to declare blades and knifes, all the pointy bits on my robots are non detachable so they let me off, they may have something to say about the cleaver.
Fantastic job, I should make a cradle but for this weight class, maybe a tad unnessesary.
Ok, just so everyone is aware, we would like roboteers to be at the venue and preferably checked in by 10, just to help the timing along.
I made a sheath for the cleaver out of some foamrubber and ducktape. It's just not on the picture.
Instead of a locking bar I made it so that I can remove the rubberbands and the cleaver will rest on the ground.
The action of the solenoids is so limited that it can't pose a danger
I am having link positioning issues with Anvil. You can get to the link I currently have without any tools but by that point you have opened up the robot so it defeats the point. That said anvil is possibly the safest beetle that will be at the even with no active weapons and 250g underweight. How picky will you be? I don't have time to be chopping holes in the titanium.
