Thread: Fall-Out Bot (FW)

    Seperated frames can work well.
I did an spaced frame with my rambot, Annoying Box Rushing (Built hastily in 3 Days) where the outer 5mm Hardox shell is suspended from the inner aluminium body via rubber shock mounts.

    Thanks for the comments
Designed to be uber-simple and reliable, so I can still have a competitive machine that won't need that much fixing so I can spend more time fixing Flow at the champs. I like a good rammer, especially one that does silly speeds! Matt I might look into the thwackbot idea, a solid arm with a nice lump of tool steel on the end pivoted by the frame would make a mean impact.
Been doing some maths, weight with 3.2mm Hardox is 11.25kg for the bi-wedge frame and 11.45kg for the wedge. So weight is definitely not a worry . Could easily bump it up to 4mm, maybe even 5mm for the front of the wedge. Hoping to have this one done to run alongside Flow at Newcastle for the Northern Tour, should make for some fun fights.
