That's good then, there's really not a whole lot that could be wrong with it beyond the battery mount and link, though I may just be paranoid about the battery thing, it won't fall out no matter how hard I chuck the machine around...

Beauty 8 is going to be fun to drive! My first go will be in the first fight so I'll have to get up to speed pretty soon.

Today was awesome, some real upsets and some robots taking massive damage, including Hatchet which got hit by mr mangle from behind which threw the back up and the baseplate landed on his beater which shattered the 10mm polycarb baseplate

Sorry 'bout that, you really had bad luck getting hit on three sides from one hit . Good rebuild though, Hatchet looks and drives almost like new again.

Looked spectacular though, all credit to Dave Weston for all his help with the rebuild. Hatchet keeps getting beached so plans for tomorrow are countersink the bolts on the bottom and add an extra layer of bike tread on the wheels to hopefully sort out the clearance problem
