Looking good, with a nice short spin-up time! You might want to be careful though; I once did a spin-up test with just the motor and weapon mounted on the base plate and at near to full speed the whole thing took off! It jumped almost a metre straight up and punched a hole clean thru the 1" side of my work bench. if its not already held down, I would really recommend screwing the base to something heavy!

Does that mean its tilted or that it depends on how tightly you do up the bolts or something like that? I would have expected it to be dead flat as everything has been lathed and machined but there may be some play in the parts.

And I can think of quite a few things to write on the underside of your robot, every pun and reference is worse than the last.
