Could do Mario, sticking with the TZs for now purely because I have them, but if I need to save weight it's certainly an option!
The Optipower lipo is something I'm still debating, will leave enough room for something really chunky in there (actually leaving room if I can for a pair of 6s Lipos and then a 4s for drive if I can just to allow for a little bit of room in terms of future upgrading... Really, the only reason for that sort of capacity is to make sure I've got both plenty of available amps for the motor so it will work to its full, but also because (or so I'm told) if you don't discharge the batteries as highly, it gets less voltage sag which leads to a little more speed on the motor. Theoretically, anyway.
Also because I fancy another crack at the Gladiator hahaha
Minor HW2 update as well, I'm sticking a pair of speed 700s in that with a 6:1 ratio which should hopefully work. It's getting a pair of HDPE bulkheads and a tiny little disc (and a new name, Ghost of the Navigator) and will probably be a whiteboard machine. It's really just a bit of an experiment, but should be cheap to sort after I've done the drive. HardWired 3 will take up the reins as the new super bricky thing, probably. Same design and all (bar some slight size changes to get brushless drive in there easier) but just thicker and higher grade armour. Because that's definitely what it needed!
Really, next port of call now is to track down some offcuts of Hardox 650 (or higher?) Toolox and that Grade 5 Titanium bar... may be a long search!
