I'm after a charger that can charge a Turnigy 4500mAh 6S2P 30C LiFePo4 Pack that wont completely ruin my pocket. I have looked at the IMAX B6 as a low cost charger but as I am just coming away from Nimh/NiCad packs want to be sure I don't get the wrong thing. Gradually converting all my bots over to LiFePo4 so will used to charger smaller 4s packs as well
Imax B6 can charge LiFePo4 as well as LiPo and Li-Ion. You need to configure it first before charging, but with the manual it is not too difficult.
Sounds easy enough, think it will be worth me getting some ordered
Also, is there much difference in terms of performance between LifePo4 and LiPo packs? If I am going for a conversion I may just go for LiPo

LiPo has a better power to weight ratio.
The fe packs seems to struggle to supply the current.
That depends on the pack you pick.
