Cheers Nick although it's more about how to wire the switch to the relay and the relay to the motor and so on

Also found a huge steel disc that looks like it could be good for an interchangeable weapon, 6mm steel, 230mm diameter and around 2kg. Wouldn't cause any huge damage and i wouldn't bother using it against other spinners but still could be fun. Couldn't resist stacking a load of bits onto the old base from Hatchet, the whole thing would need to be a lot bigger but it still looks good all together.

One wiring diagram coming up...
Facking sick mate, I love it. Shoot us a message, I might have some spinner stuff you could be interested in.
Awesome thanks Nick
Harry i'll drop you a pm
OK, this should explain most of the wiring:
The relay should have symbols similar to what I drew on it; the important thing is to not use the NC (normally closed) side of the relay. Your relay might be different to the most common one I drew, so let me know if anything isn't 100% clear.
I would not use a relay to fire the weapon. I would go with an ESC. I was using 50V, 80A Solid state relays in Conker 1 & 2. I lost one every fight to it either burning out or getting suck on. Buy a 3rd TZ85A and use that on the motor. That's my advice.
I think you'd be fine with a relay tbh. If you're running a lower voltage, say 6s max. Relays handle other brushed spinners like old Inertia XL's and Scissorhands (although that has now gone over to a couple of botbitz I think)
The plan is to run it at 6s max so ill try the relays and see what happens, if they prove more hassle than their worth then I'll upgrade to something else. Tbh the only reason I'm using the relay is because I had a couple lying around.
