Cheers guys, and Harry I wouldn't worry too much if I come up against massacre I won't be using the axe with that bar going
It's when the bar stops I'm worried :P
Made a shorter, tighter chain for the axe today and cut a piece out of the front panel to improve the travel and i think you'll agree the axe is much more potent http://s921.photobucket.com/user/mrs...3e6a0.mp4.html
Just to prove that it does http://s921.photobucket.com/user/mrs...3406b.mp4.html
The aftermath![]()
It's alive. ALIVE!!!!!
At least it was Mario i fear i may have broken it already, i was testing the axe and suddenly it stopped going over i was just getting a buzz from the motor and now it's stopped altogether i'm just getting a click from the electronize when i move the stick, maybe it's just the batteries have run down or does that sounds like a broken motor?
Try running the motor directly from the battery. If it runs, it could be a dead speedo. The electronize are relay based, that is the click you're hearing.
Or it may be as innocent as a loose lead somewhere.
You can also check the speedo for life by metering its outputs.
edit: then again if you got a buzz then it's more likely the motor, yes. Does it appear to try and rotate? Or no movement at all? Is it very hot/was their smoke?
