    It would stay open by its self as I am only going to fit a nut to the handle shaft and cut down the handle to show it position clearly, I understand the issue of acces but ceros buffer tank ram etc are all fixed together it cant move the armour hole would be quite large, I would have moved it if I could easily but its silly tight inside

    Can't you weld a short lever onto the handle of the valve that pokes out the side of the robot? You then can just turn this lever to dump? Or attach a piece of cord to the lever which comes out the side of the bot, so when you pull on the cord it opens the valve?

    Exactely, the safety valve will stay in the open position through a toggle, no tools involved, all that would need to be done is latch the toggle to deactivate...its a bit difficult to imagine without seeing the actual thing but I can assure you it works.
    Then again, it's your event so whatever your requirements, they must be complied with...

    Full lipo and batt test just carried out this included roboteq under load and all the new drive install fitted, just sorting out failsafe niggles and clearing some space to have a full on floor drive test over the weekend.
